The Lionheart School participates in two scholarship programs approved by the state of Georgia:

Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (http://www.doe.k12.ga.us/sb10.aspx)

There are four criteria for this scholarship that can be viewed on the website.  One is that “the student has  spent  the entire immediate prior school year in attendance at a Georgia public school in grades K – 12.”

Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program (http://www.goalscholarship.org/)

Students who are Georgia residents enrolled in a Georgia public school or students who are eligible to enroll in a qualified kindergarten program or pre- kindergarten program can qualify to receive GOAL Scholarships.

Lionheart scholarships are available on a limited basis.  Scholarships are made available by an applications process after admittance through School and Student Services by the National Association of Independent Schools (http://www.nais.org/parents).

All scholarships must be applied for by April 15, or within one week of acceptance.  The first two pages of the previous year tax return is required to be turned in to the school as soon as the application is made.
