The
children of Lionheart present many diverse needs, including
global development delays, language and communication disorders
(receptive and/or expressive), sensory regulation issues,
social, emotional and behavioral needs, autism, PDD, fine
and gross motor difficulties, attention deficit disorder,
seizure and neurological disorders.
Most
of these children have previously been enrolled in public
or private schools where their needs simply could not be met.
Or they have been homeschooled and are now ready to be part
of a social group to broaden their learning environment.
At
Lionheart they receive a great deal of one-on-one attention,
removing stress from their learning experience and allowing
a program to be specifically crafted to their individual needs.
