LIONHEART PROGRAMS


Lionheart addresses the individual needs of each student. Although students work in small groups, material and the teaching approach matches their individual profile. Consequently, we use a variety of recognized and innovative strategies to help our students learn in meaningful, connected ways.

For academic learning to be successful, it must be:

• Reading Curricula: Reading Mastery (SRA), Reading for Understanding (SRA), Explode the Code (EPS), and Great Leaps, Edmark, Orton Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing (V/V), Talkies, classic literature

• Math Curricula: Saxon Math, Right Start Math, Math-U-See

• Social Thinking: Michelle Garcia-Winner’s Social Thinking Curriculum, Carol Grey’s Social Stories

• Life Lab Science Curriculum
