GUIDELINES

The first step in the admissions process is to schedule a parent tour to visit the school and learn more about our approach. Tours are conducted in groups on the following dates:

  • October 23rd
  • November 6th (FULL: Buckhead Preschool Association/Professional Visit)
  • November 20th
  • December 11th
  • January 15th
  • February 5th
  • February 19th

To schedule a tour, please call 770-772-4555 or submit a Feedback Form with your requested tour date in the comments field.  Please do not visit the school without a confirmed appointment.

After you have visited the school, and feel that it is an appropriate setting for your child, we encourage parents to fill out an application. Lionheart reviews each application and considers the individual profile for each potential student. An application fee of $100 will be due prior to your second visit with your child.

Please return your completed application to:
The Lionheart School
180 Academy Street
Alpharetta, GA 30004

Or fax it to: 770-772-1871

Applications are due by March 13 for admission in the following school year.

Your second scheduled visit will allow us to meet with you and your child individually. It is important that we are able to observe your child’s interaction both with a teacher and with a small group of peers to see if Lionheart is appropriate for your child’s needs. We do not make any admission decisions without meeting your child first.

Lionheart will notify you by phone or in writing if a decision has been reached, or if more visits are needed.

A $1,000 deposit will be required within 5 business days of admission.

If you are applying after March 13:
Due to staffing needs during the late spring and summer, we are unable to schedule tours as frequently. Please submit a completed application before scheduling a tour. Although we try to finalize our enrollment for the following school year by April 15, we do occasionally have openings for new students and we would like to encourage you to apply.
